Trust your face to a specialist. As aging takes its effect, the elasticity in skin decreases, and leaves areas of sagging and loose skin. To bring your youthful appearance, we offer surgical procedures.
Facelift
Loose skin is lifted and smoothed. The lift is an invasive procedure in which general anesthesia is used. Through a series of incisions along the hairline and ears, skin is shifted to tighten and smooth, presenting a more youthful appearance. And, with suture suspension techniques, we are able to add extra support where needed.
Eyelift
This is generally done in our office with the use of local anesthetic. Through small incisions, skin folds are minimized by removing tissue and tightening skin, giving new shape to your eyes. It can also be done in conjunction with other procedures such as a facelift.
Browlift
Through small incisions, the skin can be pulled up and tightened, lifting the brow and giving you a more youthful appearance.
Rhinoplasty
Cosmetically, by means of surgery, bone, cartilage and skin are altered on the nose to create desired frontal and profile views. Functionally, surgery can straighten a deviated septum or reduce the size of turbinates, allowing for better breathing.
Otoplasty
This begins with an incision just behind the ear, in the natural fold where the ear is joined to the head. Cartilage and skin is removed. In some cases, cartilage will be trimmed shaping it in to the desired form and pinning the cartilage back with permanent sutures to secure it. Other times, cartilage will not be removed at all, instead use stitches to hold the cartilage permanently in place. After sculpting the cartilage to the desired shape, it will be sutured to anchor the ear until healing occurs to hold the ear in the desired position.
This surgery can be performed at any age after the ears have reached full size, usually around 5-6 years of age. Even if the ears are only mildly distorted, the condition can lead to self-consciousness and poor adaptation to school. Adults may also benefit from this procedure. Not only is it possible to “pin back” ears, but ears can also be reshaped, reduced in size, or made more symmetrical.
