Q. What is the difference between BOTOX® Cosmetic and fillers?
A. Botox is not a filler. It is an injectable that temporarily decreases muscle mobility in the face. Decreasing muscle function helps to diminish wrinkling of the skin when you frown, smile and make expressions. Fillers like Juvederm™ and Restylane®, fill in wrinkles temporarily once they have become apparent.
