Dr. Susan Mathison, a Fargo native, made her dream come true when she left a large multi-specialty clinic and started Catalyst Medical Center as an independent physician. She compassionately cares for patients, specializing in Otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), head/neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. She also provides treatment for allergies, sleep disorders and skincare. She is passionate about total wellness.
Dr. Mathison received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA and her medical degree from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX. After completing seven years of specialty training in Seattle at the University of WA, she returned home to Fargo in 1997.
While her busy private practice is a prime focus, she enjoys spending time with her sweet son, husband, six siblings, parents and many long-time friends. Dr. Mathison is an avid gardener and occasional golfer. She, her husband Steve and son Grant reside in Fargo, and have a farmstead in Buffalo, ND. Dr. Mathison sees patients at our Fargo office as well as Detroit Lakes, MN and Jamestown, ND.

Megan Bolda, AuD, an Indiana native, joined our team as an Audiologist in January of 2008. She provides hearing testing, hearing-aid fitting and services, limited balance evaluation, tinnitus therapy, noise exposure education, noise protection and custom molds for electronic devices. Through Catalyst, Dr. Bolda is the contracted audiologist for Fargo Public Schools.
Dr. Bolda received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN and her doctorate from Rush University, Chicago, IL. Dr. Bolda is a member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency since January 2011. She has also been a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology since 2008. She enjoys quilting and cars, especially her orange Volkswagen Beetle. She and her husband Den live in Fargo. Dr. Bolda also sees patients at Waterford and Edgewood senior living communities.
