Dr. Susan Mathison, a Fargo native, made her dream come true when she left a large multi-specialty clinic and started Catalyst Medical Center as an independent physician. She compassionately cares for patients, specializing in Otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), head/neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. She also provides treatment for allergies, sleep disorders and skincare. She is passionate about total wellness.
Dr. Mathison received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA and her medical degree from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX. After completing seven years of specialty training in Seattle at the University of WA, she returned home to Fargo in 1997.
While her busy private practice is a prime focus, she enjoys spending time with her sweet son, husband, six siblings, parents and many long-time friends. Dr. Mathison is an avid gardener and occasional golfer. She, her husband Steve and son Grant reside in Fargo, and have a farmstead in Buffalo, ND. Dr. Mathison sees patients at our Fargo office as well as Detroit Lakes, MN and Jamestown, ND.
Dr. Morris Bellis is a Minnesota native who specializes in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) and cosmetic facial surgery. His practice of over twenty years includes the surgical care of adults and children with: chronic sinusitis, blocked nasal breathing, snoring, recurrent tonsillitis, chronic ear infections, cosmetic facial surgery, sleep apnea, hoarse voice, swallowing difficulty and hearing problems.
Dr. Bellis received his undergraduate B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and his M.D. degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine with St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at White Memorial Medical Center-Loma Linda University in Los Angeles, California.
He and his wife, Teresa, live in Fargo, ND and enjoy travel, fishing, snowmobiling, reading and skiing. Teresa is a Physical Therapist and likes sewing, gardening and hiking. Dr. Bellis also enjoys aviation and has a Private Pilot License. They have two sons, Jordan, a graduate from the University of Minnesota who owns a business, and Andrew who is in college.
Rose Brakke, AuD, joined our team as an Audiologist in November of 2012. She has experience with care for patient of all ages. This testing includes hearing evaluations, hearing-aid fitting and services, tinnitus therapy, balance testing and therapy, noise exposure education, noise protection and custom molds for electronic devices.
Dr. Brakke received her undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, WI. Dr. Brakke is a member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency since January 2008. She has also been a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology since 2008.
Dr. Brakke is a Hillsboro, ND native, and currently lives south of Moorhead on the family farm with her husband Luke and son Logan. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family & friends, being outdoors, time at the lake, gardening and travel.
Linda Regan, PA-C, will be seeing patients with ear, nose, and throat problems and allergies. Linda is a physician assistant, who is also experienced in helping patients with smoking cessation.
Linda received her physician assistant education from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND. She also received her Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner education through UCLA Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner Program, Torrence, CA.
Linda is currently transitioning to Fargo, ND from Jamestown, ND. She has three grown children. Linda loves spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, hiking and biking, and jazz music. She also loves animals and has two cats, Winston and Coco and a grandpuppy, Avery.
Kate Sedlaczek, ARNP-C, is our newest addition to our provider staff. Kate is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, who has practiced in dermatology for the past 8 years. She graduated with honors and a bachelor’s degree in nursing in Sigmarinen, Germany, and earned her master’s degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She is also a member of the National Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Dermatology Nurses Association, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
She is very passionate about dermatology and tries to utilize a holistic approach to the care of her patients. She enjoys all aspects of dermatology including minor surgeries, acute and chronic cases, as well as cosmetic dermatology. Professional areas of interest include comprehensive acne treatments to minimize scarring, early skin cancer detection, treatments of rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, warts, skin allergic reactions, rashes, and more!
Kate also specializes in a wide variety of wrinkle prevention and treatment with fillers, Botox and rejuvenating laser therapies. Her past experience is in the psychiatric field, which helps her understand the psychological impact of skin problems.
Kate holds past certifications as a German translator and group aerobics instructor. She is a native of Poland and fluent in both Polish and German, as well as some Russian. She is married, has two children and enjoys sustainable living, outdoor activities, travel, photography and cooking.
