Dr. Susan Mathison, a Fargo native, made her dream come to when she left a large multi-specialty clinic and started Catalyst Medical Center as an independent physician. She compassionately cares for patients, specializing in Otolaryngology and head/neck surgery, with a focus on facial plastic surgery and skincare. She also has special interests in allergy, sleep disorder and total Wellness.

Dr. Mathison is a graduate of Stanford University and received her medical degree from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After completing seven years of specialty training in Seattle at the University of WA, she returned home to Fargo in 1997.

While her busy private practice is a prime focus, she enjoys spending time with her beautiful baby boy, husband, four of her six siblings, parents and many long-time friends. Dr. Mathison is an avid gardener and occasional golfer. She, her husband Steve and son Grant reside in Fargo, and have a farmstead in Buffalo, ND. Dr. Mathison sees patients at our Fargo office as well as Detroit Lakes, MN and Jamestown, ND.


Dr. Lesley Soine, a Montevideo, MN native, joined Catalyst Medical Center as an independent physician in 2005. Her specialty in Otolaryngology and head/neck surgery has served and continues to serve patients well. She has a devoted interest in Pediatric Otolaryngology and sinus disease management.

Dr. Soine is a graduate of North Dakota State University and received her medical degree from the University of North Dakota Medical School in Grand Forks. After completing five years of specialty training in Denver at the University of Colorado Health Sciences, she returned to Fargo in June of 2005. She enjoys playing tennis, water sports and spending time at the lakes with her family. She and her husband Bill reside in West Fargo with their two vibrant daughters, Sydni and Olivia. Dr. Soine sees patients at our Fargo office as well as Grand Forks, ND and Ada, MN.
